Subject: Direct Method
The Direct Method of teaching Latin or Greek is explained. The introduction is interesting, even these 100 years on. The same debates take place. The bulk of the book gives specific suggestions as to how to apply the Direct Method to Latin Teaching, or to Greek teaching.
